Es el v\u00ednculo entre el chasis y el conjunto de suspensi\u00f3n, conectado por bujes y una r\u00f3tula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando est\u00e1 en buen estado, ayuda a conservar par\u00e1metros cr\u00edticos como el \u00e1ngulo de ca\u00edda (camber), \u00e1ngulo de avance (caster) y convergencia (toe) dentro de los valores que especi\ufb01ca el fabricante. Pero si se deforma o desgasta, incluso de forma leve, puede desajustar la alineaci\u00f3n sin que sea evidente a simple vista. Y eso tiene consecuencias importantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>SE\u00d1ALES QUE NO DEBES IGNORAR<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Detectar a tiempouna horquilla enmal estado puede evitar que termines cambiando un juego completo de llantas antes de lo previsto. Estos son los s\u00edntomas m\u00e1s comunes a los que hay que poner atenci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Desgaste irregular en las llantas, sobre todo en los hombros interiores o exteriores.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vibraciones en el volante, que pueden sentirse al acelerar o frenar. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ruidos met\u00e1licos al pasar por baches o topes, t\u00edpicos de bujes da\u00f1ados o r\u00f3tulas \ufb02ojas. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desviaci\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo o necesidad de corregir constantemente la direcci\u00f3n. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cDientes de sierra\u201d en la banda de rodamiento, provocados por rebote lateral.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque estos s\u00edntomas a menudo se atribuyen a una mala alineaci\u00f3n, muchas veces la ra\u00edz del problema est\u00e1 en una horquilla floja, doblada o con bujes desgastados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfPOR QU\u00c9 AFECTA TANTO A LAS LLANTAS?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Una horquilla da\u00f1ada puede modificar el \u00e1ngulo de ca\u00edda y hacer que la llanta se apoye m\u00e1s de un lado que del otro. Eso acelera el desgaste, genera fricci\u00f3n excesiva y, en casos extremos, recalienta  los bordes del neum\u00e1tico. Si adem\u00e1s hay juego en la r\u00f3tula, el \u00e1ngulo de convergencia se ve afectado, provocando que la llanta se arrastre en lugar de rodar limpiamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y no solo se trata del desgaste. Tambi\u00e9n se comprometen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La e\ufb01ciencia de frenado, por menor contacto efectivo con el pavimento. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La respuesta en curvas, ya que la llanta no apoya bien. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La estabilidad a alta velocidad, con riesgo de \ufb02otaci\u00f3n o p\u00e9rdida de control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cambiar solo las llantas sin revisar la suspensi\u00f3n es un error com\u00fan.
